1. Data Protection
Any personal details we collect from you or that you provide to us (whether through this website or otherwise) will only be used by us to provide you with information, products or services that you request from us or which we feel may interest you; to enable us to carry out our obligations to you and to tell you about any changes to lessons. We will not give your personal data to any third parties except where it is necessary to enable us to provide services to you (for example, advising a venue the names of those attending a class).
We do not store or keep any of your financial information. Unfortunately transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site and any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.
If you do not wish to receive details about forthcoming events or other marketing materials, please let us know at hbird@hotshotsnetball.com. We will still need to email or contact you to tell you about changes to classes already booked by you.
2. Photographs
Please let us know if you DO NOT want us to take photos of yourself or your children during Hotshots lessons. We only use the photographs for our website and facebook site. If there are images used for a particular publicity activity, permission will be sought in writing
Out of respect for other children and their parents, please do not take photographs during lessons. Thank you!
3. Insurance
As an Affiliated Club of England Netball, we have public liability insurance for any accidents to children or adults during the Hotshots sessions. We do not take responsibility for accidents at the venue outside of the Hotshots sessions nor for any loss or damage to property. Further details of the insurance coverage can be found on England Netball's website.
We reserve the right to change any of these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notified to you by email. If you have any concerns about material appearing on our site, please contact us at hbird@hotshotsnetball.com
4. Payment
We will not guarantee places until we receive payment in full of the fees. All fees must be paid before the first day of term or, if you or your child joins after a trial class, before their first class after the trial.
5. Right to cancel and refunds
When you book and pay for a course of lessons, you have the right to cancel within fourteen working days of us receiving payment and we will reimburse all fees paid, provided that the course has not begun within that fourteen day period. Any cancellation notice must be in writing, which may be sent by email to hbird@hotshotsnetball.com. If you cancel in any other circumstances, we will only reimburse fees for unattended lessons in exceptional circumstances and at our discretion.
We reserve the right to cancel lessons, including (without limitation) if we have a problem with the venue or the coach is unavailable. We will endeavour to re-schedule the class or classes but otherwise will reimburse you the cost of the cancelled lesson(s).
6. Notice Period
Half a term notice if you are no longer continuing with classes.
7. Hotshots Rules
You are responsible for the behaviour of your child during Hotshots lessons. We are committed to providing a safe environment for your child in line with the England Netball Association "Safeguarding and Protecting Young People in Netball Policy". To this end, please ensure your child understands the Hotshots Rules. We reserve the right to exclude any child or adult who we think is not adhering to these Policies and Rules or is being abusive or disruptive in sessions. If you have any concerns about the behaviour of any child or adult, please let us know. We promise to take the matter seriously and handle it sensitively.
As a player for Hotshots Netball I agree to the following:
· I will play within the rules and respect the coach or umpire's decisions.
· I will respect all other netball players, regardless of age, gender, race or ability.
· I will be respectful to coaches, officials and volunteers for the time they give to my sport.
· I will respect and never underestimate my opponents and not try to gain an unfair advantage over them.
· I will encourage and support my fellow team members at all times without behaving in an unsporting way towards our opponents.
· I will always do my best in every situation.
· I will accept success and take victory and defeat equally.
· Win or lose, I will try to enjoy every moment on court.
· I will not use bad or inappropriate language.
· I will be punctual at all times for classes and be ready and prepared with all the right kit.
· I will always inform the coach of any injury or medical condition which may affect my playing.
· I will take responsibility for myself in and out of netball classes.
